2180: Futurus Mortuus
The year 2180.
A future that is our reflection. Mega-Cities sparsely populate a broken and scarred world, from a century of climate change, diseases, economic chaos and war. All that is left for humanity is to live in over-crowed super-structures, divided by Econ-Zones, ruled by wealth and power. A self automated metropolis of concrete, steel and machines, where life is cheap and death is a constant companion. Chief Detective Catherine Talon of Mega City New York has been assigned to investigate the recent spike in suicide bombings, as fears grow that a new drug-epidemic will hit MCNY. Talon and her team must discover the truth behind the murder and mayhem in this City with all it’s hedonism and technological grandeur. What she will reveal is something more sinister, as her past and future blur – a darkness falls over MCNY. Catherine Talon faces a fight, not just for the citizens of MCNY, but for all of humanity.
“A psychosexual future overlapped with violence and intrigue. Where our dreams and the constructs of reality clash in a world that may not be what it seems.”
*2180: Futurus Mortuus is recommended for mature readers. Due to depictions of violence and sexual sequences.
